Authorization

Consumer report authorization. I authorize Protective Standard, LLC and its consumer reporting agency, The Cromwell Group, Inc. (100 Chase Park South, Ste 112, Birmingham, AL 35244), to get consumer reports and investigative information about me to evaluate this rental application. That includes my credit report (TransUnion), criminal and sex-offender records, eviction and court records, an address history trace, and verification of my current and previous rental history and employment. I authorize my current and former landlords and employers to release this information.

I understand that if my application is denied or approved on different terms because of information in a consumer report, I will get a written notice. It will name the agency that provided the report and explain my right to get a free copy of the report within 60 days and to dispute anything inaccurate or incomplete.

Accuracy. I certify that the information in this application is true and complete. False or missing information may be grounds to deny the application or end any lease.

Fee. I understand the application fee pays for screening costs and is non-refundable, and that submitting this application doesn't guarantee approval or hold the property. I am not entitled to a refund even if my application is not approved.

Not a lease. I understand this is an application for residential housing and is not a rental or lease agreement, in whole or in part. I authorize Protective Standard, LLC to verify the information I've provided and to contact anyone named in this application. Questions about a denied application must be sent in writing (email is fine).
